Finance Clerk or Finance/Payroll Assistant

Responsible for:

  • Ensuring that colleagues are paid on time and paid the right amount.
  • Putting new starters onto the system and removing leavers, including calculating their pay.
  • Processing any payments outside of the basic pay such as additional hours, enhanced hours (nights and weekends) and any work related expenses (travel and parking whilst travelling on work business).
  • Informing colleagues as to their options in relation to a work based pension scheme.
  • Dealing with queries from colleagues around their pay.
